#GivingTuesday gives 240 children a Christmas they deserve

Thanks to your generous support on #GivingTuesday, the Kelly Cares Foundation was able to support 240 deserving local children at the 6^th annual Shop with a Notre Dame Football Player event. Each child received a surprise $100 Christmas shopping spree and was paired with a Notre Dame football player to shop and enjoy lunch. Kelly Cares' wonderful volunteers wrapped items that would be given as gifts.

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, #Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Thanks to your support during this November campaign, we were able to raise over $25,000 for Shop with a Notre Dame Football Player and double the number of children served at this event from previous years.
